After committing to study abroad I had the craziest combination of excitement and fear. None of my close friends or family had done it, so I had no idea what to expect. I think the fear of the unknown holds many people back from studying abroad, but I’m here to tell you that you need to take this leap.

There is no better chance to travel the world than while you’re in college. At this age we’re young enough to be adventurous and willing to take chances, but old enough to appreciate the experience as a whole. You can expect to learn so much about not only business and culture, but about yourself through this experience.

I realized that it’s okay and actually really rewarding to be out of my comfort zone at times. Sometimes you have to put yourself out there to make memories, and that is exactly what happens when studying abroad. If you are open to new experiences and trying new things, you will have the time of your life. There is nothing like traveling the world and meeting new people, and I wish I could go back every single day!
