Did you know that on your résumé you can count International Business Seminars as a study abroad program? IBS offers all the fun of study abroad in a compact amount of time!
Time flies by on the IBS tour. I attended the 2016 Summer Europe study abroad trip, which lasted about 21 days, and I could have stayed another 21 days. Don’t waste any of your time abroad! Remember, you can catch up on sleep when you get home.
International Business Seminars is a great program because you are given such a wide range of activities to participate in. All the business meetings are incredible, and you get to visit some of the most beautiful countries and cities in the world. In less than one month, you can return saying, “Oh, I visited six European countries and met with some of the most renowned businesses in the world.” How awesome is that?! We visited companies such as Swarovski, Hard Rock Café, the World Trade Organization, and Cailler Chocolate factory (plus many more.)
Once you get a taste of international travel, you’ll be hooked. I know I’m completely addicted to traveling and am looking into more IBS tours. I loved the Summer Euro trip, but I’d love to see those countries in the wintertime too. I’ve never been inclined to travel to Asia, but as a Business Major, it would be a very beneficial trip to attend.
Maybe the idea of being away from home for four months is a scary idea. IBS offers the perfect “first-step” to traveling in a foreign country. You are in safe and responsible hands at all times. Remember, time flies! You are so busy during your trip, you’ll find yourself saying, “But I want more time” when it’s time to go home. Who knows, maybe you’ll end up doing an IBS AND and a study abroad program (like me!)
