One thing that had me on the fence about the trip was that Idid not want to go all the way to Japan and be overwhelmed by the academic aspect of it and I thought we would not get much time to explore the cities. It felt like ninety percent of the trip was exploring the cities and being a tourist and only ten percent was the actual academic side of it. To conclude, if anyone is thinking about participating in the program, this is your sign to do it!

This program has helped me remember that I do not want to stay stagnant. I do not want to watch life pass me by. I want to live a life that I can be proud of. One that contains stories that only beg the response “Tell me more”. I would highly recommend this program to everyone. It is truly an amazing experience.

So, is the GLO program worthwhile? Without hesitation, yes. It’s an opportunity to grow in ways you can’t always predict. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any student curious about the world, international business, and eager to connect with others across cultures.For me, saying yes to GLO was saying yes to growth. And I’m so grateful I did.
