Today was magnificent! It started off with a brief orientation session and ended with a group of us struggling to find our way to the hotel by tube. Let me start from the beginning. After the orientation, around 2:00, we jumped on a bus and had a magnificent tour of London given by a wonderful chap named Warren. We got to see some of London’s most famous sights like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Parliament Building, Piccadilly Circus, and Trafalgar Square. Once the tour was over, a large group of us decided to stay behind to ride the London Eye and it was amazing.
Once everyone in our group was done, we wondered back over to Piccadilly Circus and found a few pubs to warm up, eat, and have a few drinks. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow at the British Museum will have in store!
